Rev. Dr. Paul L. Collins, II
(1931-2020) Loving father, grandfather, Co-founder and Director of Nazarene Outpost Ministries and dedicated servant to God, family and his community entered into his eternal rest on May 20, 2020 due to complications of COVID-19. He is survived by his children Paula Collins and Darryl Collins (Dorothy); sisters Maude Blackburn, Ora Hart and Sara Pool;grandchildren Antoine Brame (Gail), Nicole Bronzan (James), Jessica Collins, Angel Johnson (Donald), and Paul L Collins III; and a host of relatives and friends. Services are private. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Slocum Funeral Services.

I am remembering and honoring Cousin, Military Veteran, Rev. Dr. Paul Collins on this Memorial Day Weekend. He loss his life to COVID-19. When I called him a few weeks before he passed he talked to me how we was still praying and serving his Washington D.C. Community during the COVID-19. We must not forget our Military Veterans and COVID-19 casualties.

I was saddened and sorry to hear of your loss. My heart goes out to the Collins family at this time of grief. My heart is heavy too because he was my special friend too. I have many precious memories of him. Even as I am shedding tears for him, I am honored to remember one of the best persons that I ever met. Death has ended a life, but it will never erase the memories of our relationship. I wish the Collins Family peace and comfort as you are grieving. May God continue to bless you.
