Paul Herman Geffert

Paul Herman Geffert, of Wheaton, MD, previously of Bethesda, MD, died December 17, 2024. Born September 11, 1945 in Northfield, MN, to Theodore and Minnie Geffert, Paul graduated from Northfield High School, Evangel College (BA, History, 1968), and American University (MA, Communications, 1970). Paul married Elizabeth Tinder Pendleton, October 20, 1973, and they enjoyed over 51 years of loving marriage. Paul is preceded in death by brothers, Ivan and Dale Geffert, and sister, Lois Puckett. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; sons, Willis Geffert (Katherine), grandson Luke, and Hite Geffert (Cara), grandson Judson; and sisters, Fern Doebbeling, Doris Brown, and Martha Port. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Francis Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd W, Silver Spring, MD. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 26, at 3 p.m. at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church, 4700 Whitehaven Pkwy NW, Washington, DC. Full obituary to follow on the Collins website.
