Of Orrtanna, PA, formerly of Washington, DC, died Sunday, April 17, 2005 at his home. Survived by his wife, Clara L. Waser Maxwell; seven children, Daniel Paul, Michael Francis, Thomas M. Maxwell, Maj. John Henry Newell, USAF, Karen I. Baker, Ellen M. Hoffman, Sandra Newell-Picarelli; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandcchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, 12 Noon at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Orrtanna, PA. Interment private. The family will receive friends immediately following the services. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Church Rd., Orrtanna, PA 17353. Funeral arrangements by MONAHAN FUNERAL HOME, Gettysburg, PA.
