Paul Tellier Obituary

TELLIER

PAUL EDWARD TELLIER

Paul E. Tellier of Bethesda passed away peacefully on May 3, 2022, after living with Alzheimer's disease for many years. He was born in Milford, Massachusetts, to Paul and Evelyn Tellier, and earned degrees from the College of the Holy Cross, Vanderbilt University School of Law, and Georgetown School of Law. He retired after a full career as an attorney with the Interstate Commerce Commission and the Internal Revenue Service. Paul was active in community organizations, including the Bethesda Chevy Chase YMCA and St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, where he served on the vestry.

Paul is survived by his wife, Phyllis Fong, and daughters Elana and Cara; his sisters Paula Alves (Tony), Pamela Palmer, and Jacquelyn Tellier (George Penner); brothers-in-law Jeffrey Fong (Linda) and Harold Beals, and sister-in-law Allison Fong; as well as a beloved niece, five nephews, and their extended families.

A memorial service will be held at St. Johns Norwood Episcopal Church, Bethesda, on Saturday, July 30 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of one's choice.
