PEARL HELENE KASSIN
On Sunday, July 21, 2013, Pearl Helene Kassin of Montgomery Village, Maryland. Beloved wife of 58 years to the late Richard B. Kassin; devoted and loving mother of Rhonda (Donald) Fried; Debra (Robert z"l) Sova; Jodi (Jack) Kern and Shelli (Joseph) Golden. Pearl had five brothers, and was predeceased by three, Jack, Dr. Samuel and Abraham Korman. Pearl's surviving siblings are Murray (Elaine) and Dr. David (Irina) Korman. Pearl is also survived by her adoring grandchildren Eric (Renae) Fried; David (Angela) Fried; Stacie (Andrew) Vernor; Michal Sprecher; Gabriella Sprecher; Elieza and Maggie Golden. Great-grandmother of Endymion, Draven, Theoden and Warrick Fried, Kassin Fried, Nolan and Paxton Vernor and Johnny Strom. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 3 p.m. at the Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park, Clarksburg, Maryland. The family will observe shiva at the home of Shelli and Joseph Golden. Memorial contributions may be made to one of the following charities, Chabad Lubavitch of Upper Montgomery County; Montgomery Hospice; Boys Town Jerusalem, or Chabad's Children of Chernobyl. Arrangements entrusted to Danzansky-Goldberg Memorial Chapels Rockville, Maryland

Mom, you were taken from us so suddenly. It seems so unreal that we won't see you again. However, you went the way you wanted and surrounded by everyone who loves you. We all knew how much you missed dad, so we find some solace in knowing that you are together again. Thank you for all the lessons taught, the love shared and especially the laughter. Your legacy as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother will live on.
