Mother Peola McCaskill was a virtuous woman filled with love and grace. I am grateful for the indelible print she left, and her legacy that will continue through the NCNW and other organizations. My thoughts and prayers are with the McCaskill family.

A bright light has been extinguished for the WMS, NAP and NCNW. I was also under the tutelage of Mrs. McCaskill in the WMS at WMS Quadrennial Conventions in Miami, Dallas, Philly and Orlando. She knew her stuff and wasn't ashamed to tell you what was right. A loving, no-nonsense scholar of Parliamentary Procedures and Constitutional issues. You will truly be missed, my sister. Take your rest and keep them straight up there!!!

Forever in our hearts - that is Ms P´s legacy. I met her over 25 years ago when i became acquainted with Dr. Dorothy Height, and she has imprinted her values and vision on me ever since. That legacy transcended me to my daughter Courtney who she coached to a national NCNW position and disabusing my grandson of his sexist views of women in basketball by taking him to early WNBA games. Forever imbedded on our memories. Pa, Courtney & Isaiah Lattimore

Condolences to ALL people that knew "Ms. Peola"! She was one-of-a-kind and will truly be missed. I will miss her talks, concerns for my siblings and sons, missionary work, and a half cake for my birthday (she would tell me, I didn't need a whole cake because that would be adding too much weight)! Always "to the point" and genuine! You were the example of Matthew 25:21 (good and faithful servant!). May you forever Rest in Peace "Ms. Peola".

Sister Peola was a real nice lady. Always kind with a wealth of information when you had a conversation with her. I will miss her and her wonderful sense of humor. God bless her family. Rest in peace my dear sister, Mrs. Peola H. McCaskill.
