PETER HEIDENBERGER Obituary


Peter Alexander Heidenberger  (Age 99)  
Died peacefully at home in Chevy Chase on Saturday, October 30, 2021. He was the patriarch of the Heidenberger family, the beloved husband of Alice for 76 years and the father of four children, Thomas, Dick, Stephan, and Betsy. A devoted grandfather of seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Born in Munich, Germany July 24, 1922, he became a successful international lawyer and author of "From Munich to Washington" about his life and his immigration to America in 1952 with his wife and two children. An avid sportsman in sailing, skiing, tennis, and golf, he was an active member of Columbia County Club, the Annapolis Yacht Club, and the Metropolitan Club. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Ann's Center for Children, Hyattsville, MD or Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, Alexandria, VA. Family burial at St. Gabriels.
