Peter was a trusted colleague, providing indispensable anesthesia for my obstetric patients for many years. Having been a pitcher myself, I fondly recall many conversations that we had about baseball during breaks at the hospital. I am fortunate to be coaching youth baseball now, and I hope that I may honor his memory in a small way by passing on his passion for baseball and for life to the next generation of ballplayers ( I will also be recruiting for future doctors, too).

As an ObGyn, I depended on Peter to help my patients with epidural anesthesia. His positivity was infectious. I am also a baseball nut, and his example encouraged me to get involved again in baseball as a coach. His loss is large, but his legacy is great. My deep condolences for his family.

I always enjoyed seeing Peter out in the neighborhood with his family and with his adorable dog Loki. He always had a smile and a wonderful sense of humor. One of my favorite memories is from one of the lovely Thornapple Street block parties when we shared a great laugh about the show "Arrested Development". The quirky characters were so funny and we talked about so many amusing scenes from the show. I also so admired Peter´s incredible work ethic and know he contributed so much to the care of so many as a doctor. He will always be remembered in the Town of Chevy Chase as an amazing neighbor and a wonderful human being. Thinking of Monique and their two amazing daughters during this challenging time.
