May God be with you during this time of breavement. I have know Vincent for over twenty years and it has been a pleasure and a blessing to know him. He could always make me laugh. A man of care and compansion. Yet still a firm hand of guidance. I will greatly miss him and the talent that he blessed up with at the Providence Baptist Church and the Rock Creek Baptist Church. To the family, I encourage you to keep your hands and heart in God's Hand and he will take care of you.

I was saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Buyck. I met him at the Rock Creek Baptist Church in DC, while he was the Director of the Senior Choir. To me, he brought out the best in each person the choir and took its members to new heights. I will always love his special arraignment of "I Want To Be A Follower Of Christ". My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I met Vincent about 8 yrs. ago. I remember the time I had friends over for dinner, I had cooked Fried Turkey Wings and Vincent ate one before dinner, he got up from my dinner table and said "I will be right back" when he returned he had a shopping bag full of turkey wings for me to cook! Vincent you will be missed.

I first met Dr. Phenius PD Vincent Buyck, Sr. in November 1999 after speaking with him on the telephone when I became his patient in private practice. I remember the sound of his deep voice which projected the image of a very caring & confident person as well as that of an extremely competent & knowledgeable physician. I will always remember him and be grateful for his kindly advice & treatment to help me to overcome my serious illnesses. And in my rememberance, I will always think of him for his saying & singing on his audio CD, "The Friendship", which he gave me as a gift, that "there's no ship like friendship." Sincerely, Reginald Carpenter
