I remember PHIL fondly. He was so easy to get along with in what was then, the US State Department's Office of Security. The hours were long and the tasks demanding. Phil could always be counted upon to deliver. When he left for other opportunities, I felt a void in our ranks. We connected intermittently over the years with updates. He will, forever, be sorely missed.

Cindy and family - the Celebration of Life last weekend was such a beautiful tribute to Phil. A number of stories mentioned his devotion to his family. I'll always remember Phil's visits to the bakery - he would sit in our back office and always began talking first and foremost about his family. He was, truly, a family man. Phil will be missed and his memory will live on through all of you, and all who knew him.

Cindy and family, Michele and I send our deepest condolences to you on Phil's passing. Phil was a mentor to me during our time at GE and he put his faith in me time and time again. But more importantly, he was a good friend and was someone I could always count on to be there when needed. A true quality so scarce today!!
May God bring the Cassidy family peace and strength during this time.
Rest in Peace Phil.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to Cindy and the entire family. I was lucky enough to work with Phil and Cindy for many years during their Business Council days and I always looked forward to spending time with both of them. Phil was a force and was a great friend throughout our time together and I will miss him greatly. I loved my time with him and Cindy. I love them both.

My sympathies to the Cassidy family. I Did several overseas trips with him during his Special Agent days. Most notably SecState Cyrus Vance security advance trips to Damascus, Syria and Geneva, Switzerland 1977-78. Back in the day we even shared hotel rooms and we did so for several weeks in Damascus on a SecState shuttle mission. Lot of hard work and laughs. RIP Phil.

My sincere condolences to the Cassidy family. Phil was a Dip Security classmate: full of energy, fun and a stand-up guy. His passing leaves an empty spot on the roster of the 'good ones'.
