Philip Michael Goldstein

5/2/1936 - 8/17/2022

Philip Michael Goldstein, son of the late Milton and Minerva Goldstein of Brooklyn and older brother of Henry Goldstein, MD of Milford, PA, has died. Philip attended New York University, where he studied history and earned a JD. Philip and his beloved, Sheila Cohen, recently celebrated 62 years of marriage. As a young couple, they moved from New York to Bowie for Philip's federal government career as a Budget Analyst, from which he retired after 35 years. Together with Sheila, Philip raised a family of five boys, all of whom he loved dearly. Philip is survived by sons Adam Goldstein, MD (Amy) of East Lyme, CT; Evan Goldstein (Tamra) of Highland; Garrett Goldstein (Sonia) Falls Church; nephews Jonathan Bodner (Laura) of Potomac, and Ari Bodner (Kelli) of Richmond, VA. He especially loved spending time with his five grandchildren, Marc, Joshua, Hannah, Rachel, and Benjamin Goldstein, and two grand-nephews, Jack and Liam Bodner.
