Philip John Tarnoff (Age 81)

Of Rockville, passed away peacefully on June 1 after a brief illness. Phil was born on July 12,1941, to Norman and Arline Tarnoff in New York City. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his son, David, David's wife Karen; grandson Matthew, daughter, Kathy, and Kathy's wife Karen.



Visitation will be at Pumphrey's Colonial Funeral Home on Saturday, June 10, 4 to 6 p.m. The funeral service will be Sunday, June 11, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church with burial service Monday, June 12, at 2 p.m. in Norbeck Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Hungry for Music (https://hungryformusic.org/, Cairn Rescue USA (https://cairnrescueusa.com/, or The Nature Conservancy (https://preserve.nature.org/, organizations with missions Phil felt strongly about.
