On Saturday, December 31, 2005 of Rockville, MD. Loving husband of 24 years of Geraldine S. Chen. Devoted father of Michael Chen (wife Sandra), Lisa Grogan, and Andrea Caviness (husband Jim). Grandfather of Amy, John Phillip, Christine, Marina, and Jimmy. Brother of William Chen of Florida. Friends will be received at PUMPHREY'S COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 300 W. Montgomery Ave., (Rt. 28, just off I-270, exit 6A) Rockville, MD on Friday, January 6, 2006 from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will offered at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, Falls and Dunster Rds., Potomac, MD 20854 on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment All Souls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his name to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 51 Locust Ave. Suite 201, New Canaan, CT 06840 or to the charity of one's choice. I was deeply sadden when I heard about Phil's passing. He was a very gentle, playful and wonderful co-worker. I will remember him fondly. My prayers are with his family during this sad time.
