On September 12, 2006, our much loved mother left us to join her husband, Shellie, who preceded her in death just six weeks before. Family will receive visitors on Saturday, September 16 at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Springfield, with service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Dear Lori et al,
I just found out tonight that my friend is gone and I'm devastated both by that news and that I didn't get to see you all again.
We loved your parents and cherish our memories of them. I especially remember the trips we made with FBC youth to all sorts of places--and all the stuff we did. Allen--a.k.a. Snapper--learned to swim in your pool. Phyllis helped me with Ruthanne's wedding--flowers, food, etc. The baby shower for Christopher's mom was at your house. I could go on and on.
Oh, children--we're praying for you and beg you to call if we can do anything to help.
Love, Carolyn Sanders
