VENTRESCA PONFILIO VENTRESCA On Monday, February 2, 2009, PONFILIO VENTRESCA, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Carmela Ventresca; father of Maria Ventresca (Sabato) Marigliano and Giovanna Ventresca (Eric) Mariggio; grandfather of Antonio, Sabato and Luca; brother of Domenico Ventresca; also survived by many relatives and friends. Relatives and friends may call at Holy Rosary Church, 595 Third Street, NW, Washington, DC, on Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m., (recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 p.m.), where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 9 at 10 a.m. Entombment Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or the National Center for Padre Pio, 111 Barto Road, Barto, PA 19504 ( www.padrepio.org .) Arrangements by COLLINS FUNERAL HOME.

We were saddened to hear about Panfilio's untimely passing. I'll always remember him as one of the kindest and gentlest men I've known, he had an eternally positive outlook. He will be missed and our thoughts are with his family.
