With deepest sympathy in the loss of your love one Quentin Banks Sr.
I was looking through the obituary section for another friend and saw his name and photo.
I remember the Banks family attending St. John CME Church when I was a little girl growing up. The Banks were pillars of the church and an inspiration and encouragement to African American in South East Washington and sourounding area. When I was a child I was inspired by their professional manner and kindness towards my family and others. Members of our church and neighborhood could always depend on the banks brothers for sound financial and legal advice.
To his family and close friends remember the good times that you shared and never forget the legacy that he left for those lives that he touched; professional service, generosity, responsible, good communicator, hardworking, diligent, and level-headedness. Quentin Banks touched past, present and future generations. Without his guidance many of us would not be where we are today. I thank God for his wonderful parents that taught their sons strong moral and Christian values; and instilled in them the foundation that they needed to be successful in life.
Keeping his love ones in prayer as you go through the days, months and years ahead.
If you are in the neighborhood please stop by one of his first churches, St. John Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, located at 2801 Stanton Road, SE, D. C. We would love to meet his family.

There is no friend like an old friend,
who has shared our morning days,
no greeting like his welcome,
no homage like his praise.
