Died at his home on August 28, 2007 in Alexandria, VA. Mr. Ayala is survived by his loving wife, Margo Ayala; three daughters, Margarita Carrillo, Ina Ayala and Christine Likes; two sons, John Mayer and Ramon W. Ayala; three step-sons, Todd Byerly, John Byerly and Joel Byerly. He is also survived by five grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, as well as numerous brothers and sisters. A celebration of Mr. Ayala's life will be held on Friday, August 31, 2007 from 7 to 9 p.m. at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 811 Cameron Street, Alexandria, VA, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment will be held on Monday, September 10, 2007, 3 p.m. at Arlington National Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society of Northern Virginia, 124 Park Street S.E., Vienna, VA 22180.
