Randy Naylor Obituary


  
RANDY EUGENE NAYLOR  
Passed away on January 4, 2011 at his home in Falls Church, Virginia. Randy was born on July 15, 1958 in Nuremberg, Germany while his family was stationed in Germany. He grew up in North Carolina and joined the US Navy as a Seabee in 1978. During his time in the Navy, Randy was a construction electrician, and was stationed throughout the world. Randy retired from the Navy in 1996 and soon there after joined the Department of State as a Facility Manager in the Bureau of Overseas Building Operations, in which position he was still employed upon his passing. Randy served at over 120 overseas posts with the Department of State, and he was a friend to all he met. Randy is survived by his wife Carol Ceder Naylor, son Randy Jr., daughter Ashley, grandchildren Hayden and Jackson, his brother Ronnie and sister Wanda. Gravesides services were held at Arlington National Cemetery.

Randty was a great friend. I worked with him on the Power Quality team. I later met him in Kingston Jamaica, when I was doing Infrared readings at his post. I ate dinner with him and Carol at his home. What a great person to know! I will truely miss him.
