You had the best homilies at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception during Slovenian Mass --short, to-the-point, and filled with humor.

Father Wadas was my first therapist. He helped so many people especially our family ( Davies and Tom-Sahr). Well done good and faithful servant. May his soul rest in peace.

Fr. Raymond Wadas: There is no doubt in my mind that you CURED me in 2013. I was in the hospital for a perforated colon. I had been in the hospital for six weeks with seven surgeries and not getting better. Fr. Wadas came to the hospital and stood by my bed and talked with me and then blessed me. I immediately started feeling better. Like something in me had changed. I was 55 years old. Within a week I was in a nursing and rehabilitation center after that. That man, that saint, saved by life and gave me back to my husband and three children. I will be forever grateful to Fr. Raymond Wadas! Fr. Wadas had also been one of the main celebrants of my wedding in 1984.

Padre-you were the best! You baptized Sam and married us the same year (1980) at St. Bernard´s. You even travelled to Virginia to do the wake and funeral for Sam when he died at Christmas time, 2010. I will miss your annual Christmas cards and notes, but I have the greatest memories of you and St. B`s YAC polka dancing at Blobs Park. You were the best polka dancer/partner ever, even though you almost threw me into my wedding cake at the reception while we were polka-ing! Most of all, I will miss your wide smile, notes of wisdom, endless prayers, quirky humor, and genuine kind heart. God has another angel in his ranks! I am sure you and Sam are catching up as I write this. God bless you always!
