REBECCA BOBA GRIFFIN (Age 36)
On December 28, 2006 of Accokeek, MD. Beloved wife of James T. Griffin; daughter of Robert C. and Geraldine O. Boba; granddaughter of Ruth Ost; mother of Ben, Katia and Jimmy, whom she died giving birth to. She is also survived by brother, Jed and wife, Joey Boba; sister, Rachel Boba; nephews, Holden and Atticus Boba. Friends received on Monday, January 1, 2007 from 4 to 8 PM at the RAYMOND FUNERAL CHAPEL, La Plata, MD, where service will be at 7 p.m. Interment private. Memorials contributions may be made to Becky's Kids College Fund, c/o Willkie Farr & Gallagher Law Firm, 1875 K Street, NW, Washington, DC 20036-1238. Arrangements by Raymond Funeral Service, La Plata, MD (301-934-2920).

I can't even begin to express my sadness at this tragic news. Becky was a wonderful woman and I loved her dearly. The year we spent living together in college was full of laughter and joy. She was a beautiful person inside and out.

I attended high school with Rachel & Becky in Big Piney. Although we were not particularly close, people who share life growing up in a small town in Wyoming are like family. I just wanted to convey my condolences to Becky's husband & children as well as to her parents and siblings. She is in a better place with the Lord though that is difficult to comprehend through grief. God bless you all.

I attended Jr. High and High school with Becky and Rachel. Becky always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone who met her. I remember the Boba family being close and so supportive of one another. She no doubt passed all of her wonderful qualities I remember so well along to her children. I'm so sorry for your loss. To the Griffin and Boba families,
I attended high school with Becky and her sister, Rachel. I have many fond memories of Becky while playing basketball and spending time together after school. She always wore a smile and had a fantastic attitude about life. Her passing is truely tragic and hard for me to understand. I had email correspondence with Becky a few years ago and we shared photos of our children. She was a loving mother, wife, sister and friend. Her spirit will live through her beautiful children and her loving, close-knit family. My deepest sympathy goes to you.

My wife Jennifer and I had the pleasure of meeting you both at Dan and Anne's wedding. Becky was kind enough to entertain me (at great lengths) during the wedding, bridal party photo shoot and throughout the course of the day. I remember fetching her cucumber juice and questioning her clear enjoyment of same. She was a super sweet person and I will always cherish that time we got to spend together back on that beautiful day in September. Jen and I were both deeply saddened to here this awful news. We will keep you all in our prayers for a long time to come.

Jim, I am very thankful that we were able to talk yesterday. Anne and I are shattered. Our thoughts and hearts are with you and your children. As you well know, we are here for you always to help with absolutely anything--just say the word.
I was fortunate enough to have met Becky shortly after you started dating in 1989, and have the fondest, happiest memories of the times we spent together. Having you at our wedding meant the world to us.
So many indivuals were blessed to have Becky as a close friend; you were the wealthiest of all. The sadness is only overcome by the joy and smiles she brought each of us.
