Rena A. English  
Rena English, born in Washington, DC on November 17, 1919, died in Land-o-Lakes, FL on May 22, 2016. A former resident of Alexandria, VA, she is survived by her son, Larry (Barbara); great-granddaughter, Natalie Battaglia; granddaughter, Annette Sheppard (David Keniston); sisters, Helen Maye and Rosie Mullins; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Lafoe and her daughter, Marcella. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Mountcastle Funeral Home, 13318 Occoquan Road, Woodbridge, VA 22191. A service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Mount Comfort Cemetery, 6600 S. Kings Hwy., Alexandria VA 22306.
