Richard Deem Obituary


 
Colonel RICHARD G. DEEM  
Of Havre de Grace, MD passed away on December 2, 2010 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. He was 80. He was the devoted husband of the late Flora P. Deem. He was also predeceased by his daughter Susan Kennedy and son Thomas L. Deem. He was the loving father to Meg Deem and Mary Precopio and her husband Mario. He was the grandfather to three. Colonel Deem had retired after more than 26 years from the United State Marine Corps where his last duty station was for the Headquarters of the Marine Corps in Washington D.C. After he had retired from the Marine Corps he worked for the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, 615 Congress Avenue, Havre de Grace, MD 21078. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 7 at 10 a.m. at The Church of the St. Patrick Catholic Church. A Military Graveside service will be given by the United States Marine Corps on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Quantico National Cemetery in Triangle, Virginia.
