Richard Anthony DeMarco  (Age 92)  
Died on Thursday, August 18. He was born on August 6,1929 to Louis and Mary (Vitiello) in Washington, DC. He graduated from St. Anselm's Abbey High School in 1946 and from Catholic University in 1950 with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. He served in the United States Army from 1950-1953. Richard met his wife, Olvido Maria Castillo, when she was visiting from Madrid, Spain at an Italian Embassy Ball. They were married on October 9,1965 in Washington, DC and had two beautiful daughters, Victoria Ann and Michelle Marie. Richard worked at Goddard NASA as an accountant for 37 years where he worked in Budget and as the Lead Financial Manager in the Flight Projects Directorate. He enjoyed vacationing with his family. He had a camper trailer that he took his family every year on vacation all over the United States from Florida to Maine. He was the king of the road and LOVED driving on the open roads. He took his family on many trips to visit family in Spain. And, he loved taking his wife on special trips such as a cross country train trip, River Cruises, and The Transatlantic Queen Mary Cruise. He is survived by his wife, Olvido; daughters, Victoria DeMarco-Beck and Michelle DeMarco Groff; sons-in-law, John Beck and Michael Groff; as well as three grandchildren, Jordan Marie Groff, Nicholas Michael DeMarco Groff, and Jack Anthony Beck.
