Since we moved into the house next door to the Hurt family 21 years ago, we have deeply appreciated our wonderful neighbors. We will miss Dick's indomitable spirit and kindness, and will cherish our memories of him. Our sympathies and wishes for peace and comfort go out to the whole family.

Words cannot express the sadness I felt upon seeing that Capt. Hurt had passed away. I find comfort in believing our two loved ones are at peace and finally able to share their military stories. It was always a pleasure to see you at Tribute. Prayers of comfort to you and your entire family.
