Memories and Condolences
for Richard Lamrouex

Not sure what to say?

December 27, 2011

I am so profoundly sad for your loss. Dad had become so dear to me from the very first time Jeff brought me home to meet the family to the last Thursday at the bowling alley goofing around and telling stories, never knowing it would be the last time we would spend there. All the times we shared were so full of love and family and I will carry those memories in my heart forever. One of the most special was the day he gave me the beautiful Jesus cross he made for so many. I was so deeply moved by that simple, humble and elegant gesture of sharing his faith and I look at my cross everyday and thank God there was a Richard Lamrouex in this world. I miss him so much. Yet I know he hasn't left us because our hearts are so full of love for him. The love he found so easy to share. I pray that you each find comfort and solace on this difficult journey. My heart is with you all. With great love and with great respect.. Nancy Fullmer

Dear Mrs. Lamrouex and family,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. My family and I attended Trinity Lutheran Church for a short time before moving to Virginia. Your husband (and father) was one of the reasons we chose to attend TLC. He was so friendly and always had a smile and a kind word, even for a stranger. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

November 25, 2011

Mrs Lamrouex, Jeff and Family,
I was extremely sad to hear about the loss of Mr. Lamrouex. I had fond memories dating back to the first sleep over we had in the pop-up camper all the way to the trip to Germany. Those were great times and happty memories that will last. I understand from talking to my Dad that this happened suddenly and I hope that all of you are able to find peace and remember all of the good/funny times. Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
Sincerely, Mark and Jenn Weiner

Jeff..Clayton read this for us at BPOE Thursday Mixded Evening Bowling League...

Felix was blessed with a loving family and so many friends. He touched so many lives by doing good works and deeds, even so far as to help build homes in other states..being away from home weeks at a time.

He loved children and contributed to St Judes, which we would like to collect some donations tonight to send to St Judes in memory of him.

We really miss you Felix. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers, like we were in yours. Let us please have a moment of silence in his honor.
There will be a donation of approximately $500 sent to St Judes in Felix's memory. God bless you and your family in these trying times. May the Lord be with you.

From all your bowling buddies at BPOE 2309 Thursday Mixed

Jenny, I'm so glad your Dad was and is a dedicated Christ follower so that we can see him again when it's our time to meet God in our big heavenly house! However, I will be praying for you and your family because I know this is tough; and we don't know the day or hour when we'll get to see him again. Also, I'll echo another post, in that his kind-heartedness will live-on in you and your family. ?

Jean,, I is hard to find the words to convey our sympathy to you and our sense of loss over Dick's passing. Whjile we have no doubt whatsoever about where he is, we miss him nonethe less.
What I most admired about Dick was his deep, genuine faith in Jesus. He truly epitomized a childlike faith--deep, abiding, unquestioning. And he lived it out in so many ways. Leah still has the HUGE stuffed dog he gave her when she had her surgery. That was Dick...looking out for a scared child.
And when I called Rebecca to share the sad news, she said "I feel like I've lost a second grandfather." To my girls, Dick was always kindess personified.
As for me, I remember Dick everytime I see the "Jesus" fish hanging from my rearview mirror. Dick won't be forgotten, but our lives are richer for having know him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Will all miss Dick. A lot.

Dearest Jean and family...Words cannot express my desire to comfort you on your loss. Such a tragic ending to the life of a sweet and remarkable man. Who could imagine that a refreshing bike ride through the woods on a beautiful autumn day might be one's last coherent moment. The whole church and community grieve with you but cannot reach the depth of your personal grief.

Lorena, chuck and I were so warmly welcomed by Dick, you and family while we were at Trinity. We miss you all and the church family.

Jean, I know you are surrounded by loving family and friends. Do not hesitate to lean on them throughout the coming months and years. God sends angels in disguise. Bless you and know that you are in my heart and prayers. Always..Carolyn Larkin

My Pop pop, i.e. my grandpa just passed away this sunday October 30 at 12:50 AM. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to go through and my pop was literally the best person I've ever known in the world He was a navy retired veteran. Even though he could just chill at his house, he went out every week, donated truckloads of food, went to church every Sunday and held the door for everyone, and loved traveling. One day in early October, he decided to go out on a bicycle ride on a beautiful day, at 74 years old, rode his bike to a friends house then to my house, a good 10 mile ride already, then on his way home lost control going down a hill and fractured his skull in 3 places on a tree, the brain swelling was uncontrollable so they operated and removed part of his skull. He gave his all for the past 20 days and was let go finally in the hopes that he could find peace up in heaven which i know he has.
I will always Love my Pop Pop and anyone that reads this, never take a love one for grant it.
Love and miss you forever pop ♥ Jacob

We will greatly miss his willingness to help where he could. Also as a golf partner, a bowling partner, and a member of our community. We know that Felix's love for GOD showed thru in everthing he was involved with. He enjoyed
playing cards ,but I don't know which was his favorite. He liked to play a game called Oh######, which he call CHUCKYDARN. I'm not sure what that meant.
