Richard Gene Leinneweber, age 84, of Supply, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
Mr. Leinneweber was born in Goldthwaite, Texas on March 19, 1941 and was the son of the late Francis and AzilleBerry Leinneweber. He was a retired steamfitter and a member of Local 602 Steamfitters Union.. Mr. Leinneweber was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish and play golf. He was a member of Sharon Methodist Church of Supply, North Carolina.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Gladys "Renie" Leinneweber of the home; two sons, Gerry Leinneweber (Mary Sweeny) of Shallotte, N.C. and Richard L. Leinneweber (Jeanne) of Mechanicsville, Maryland; grandchildren, Kathryn Shea (Justin), Kelly Wagnor (Kenny), Charles Moy,Jr and Shelby Suite; great-grandchildren, Blake Shea, Macy Shea, Karsyn Shea, Chloe Wagnor and Christopher Moy; a brother, Dean Leinneweber of Rockville, Maryland.
Funeral services will be held Saturday October 11, 2025 at eleven o'clock in the morning at Sharon Methodist Church, 2023 Holden Beach Road, Supply, N.C. with Reverend Eddie Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
