On December 12, 2005, RICHARD JAMES "Dick" WHYTE of Frederick, MD. Owner of Whyte & Associates. Beloved husband of Carol Williams Whyte; father of Kathleen Fox, Jefferson, MD, William White, II, M.D., Louisiana, Eugene Romanoff, Texas and Richard Whyte, Frederick, MD; grandfather of 10. Friends may call at the KEENEY AND BASFORD FUNERAL HOME, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD on Friday, December 16 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service at the funeral home on Saturday, December 17 at 2 p.m. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.

As President of the Washington DC Chapter of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers, I wish to extend our condolences to the family of Richard Whyte on behalf of the entire membership. The membership owes Dick a great debt of gratitude for all that he accomplished for the Chapter and the industry at large. We believe that Dick's spirit will live on in the hearts and minds of all that he touched. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you in this dificult time. May God Bless.
