RITA DEGEN (Age 96)
On November 4, 2017. Rita Degen of Silver Spring, MD She was preceded in death by her parents, Ignatius Degen and Mary Jane O'Donnoghue and stepbrother, Joseph X. McCann. She is survived by her cousins Tim, Bill, and Pat Whelan, Mary Chew, Christine Kindschuh and many dear friends.A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on November 13, 2017 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 4101 Norbeck Rd., Rockville, MD 20853 at 12 noon with visitation to start at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Silver Spring, MD. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Father McKenna Center, 19 I St. NW, Washington, DC 20001. Arrangements entrusted to Hines Rinaldi Funeral Home.
