What a terrible loss! Bob was a true gentlemen, as well as a gentle man, & a very gracious host of our bridge games. We will all miss him. Our hearts go out to his family.

To Bob's family: Heartfelt condolences to you. Losing Bob is a real blow to the U of C bridge group. Whether as an opponent or a partner, he was a creative player who had fun no matter the outcome. His unique sartorial style added to the festive air. And he was quite the gallant, always bringing flowers to give to the women players. We remember Bob fondly and will miss him.
