ROBERT EMMANUEL BLUNT
A retired laborer who also performed odd jobs throughout the DMV area, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 in Hyattsville, MD. Robert was born on July 28, 1952 in Alexandria, VA to Bernice and John D. Blunt, who preceded him in death as well as his siblings, John "Butch" Blunt, Connie Chiaka and Spencer Blunt. Robert leaves to cherish his memory, partner Glinda Carter; children, Robin Blunt; Robert "Mann" Jr. and his wife Tonya; and Julius "Tony" Bennett, and the loves of his life – his five grandchildren: Robert, Makaiyah, Xavier and Kanijah Bennett and King Williams. He also leaves to mourn his passing sisters Bernice (Yvonne) Kinrelere, Marsha Flemmings and Sandra Blunt. In addition, he will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at Freeman Funeral Service, 7201 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, MD 20735 on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11 a.m. Masks are required.
