ROBERT EDWARD CERULLA
Of Edgewater, MD, formerly of New Carrollton, MD went home to Glory on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Husband of 48 years to Frances C. Cerulla; devoted father of Mark J. Cerulla, Amy Robinson, Brenda Oldham, Charles Cerulla, Susan P. Irwin, Carol P. Spisak and Joann P. Montgomery. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was a long time member of Riverdale Baptist Church in Largo, MD, 18 year National Guard veteran and retired from Safeway after 40 years of service. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at FORT LINCOLN FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Bladensburg Rd., Brentwood, MD and The Little Church on the Grounds of FORT LINCOLN CEMETERY, Thursday, January 21 from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer''s Association or Hospice of the Chesapeake.www.fort-lincoln.com

Bob was always a quiet, but most pleasant gentleman. I came to know him back in the 90's while Mark, and my daughter, were involved in various RBC School (sports) and church activities. I send my love, and prayers for comfort in the days ahead as you think upon this wonderful man and his love for his precious wife, Fran, his family, the Lord, and his membership at RBC. You'll be on my mind and in my heart in the days ahead. God is our refuge and strength..... Love, Carlene
