ROBERT N. HUDAK (Age 45)
On November 6, 2014, Robert, of Manassas, VA passed away. Robert, a musician, enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing and spending time with his many friends. He was a graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island. Robert, born December 29, 1968, is the son of Charlotte S. Hudak and Colonel Robert J. Hudak, Ret. In addition to his mother and father, Robert is survived by his sister Elle and three nieces Kaitlyn, Kelly and Colleen. A memorial service will be held for Robert at the Baker-Post Funeral Home in Manassas, VA on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Guitars Not Guns Music Program. The program, close to Robert's heart, aims to help stop violence in schools and on the streets by providing a music program for at-risk teens and other deserving children. www.guitarsnotguns.org/donate_funds.php

My friend Musician Robert Hudak was one of the few true friends that I'd made since I left NY over 3 years ago.

We had just jammed at his house last week. When he called me a few days ago I didn't take his call. I subsequently called him, and texted him---but he never answered or replied. Now I know why. I'll never know for sure why he called, and what he had to say. I'm sorry Rob that I didn't answer the phone. Please forgive me where ever you are.

He was a generous, honest, loving person. A talented multi-instrumentalist, who loved to fish just as much if not more than making music! I'll miss you.

There but for the grace of God go all of us. RIP Rob.

Rob was always nice to me at Robinson; we only really connected recently through Facebook and I am a fan of Spunion and always enjoyed his fishing photos. I will miss his quick wit and great attitude. Fly on Little Wing and hug Jerry for all of us mere mortals!!
