Of Haymarket, VA, died on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Mr. McNickle was a graduate of Linsley Military Institute and a Magna Cum Laude Graduate of the University of West Florida. He was a retired MGYSGT of the United States Marine Corp and served in Viet Nam. He was also a retired Systems Analyst for Boeing Computer Service and SAIC. He was preceded in death by his father Orville McNickle; and by a brother Bruce James McNickle. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sandra Evans McNickle; his children Kerry Robert McNickle, Kristi Lee Forbus and her husband Thomas, Kirk Andrew McNickle and his wife Catherine, and Kent David McNickle; his sisters Judith Ross, Sally Sirianni, Connie Rosenberg and Susan Snyder; his brothers Larry McNickle and Dan McNickle; and his five grandchildren Megan, Hannah, Robert, Colleen and Robert John II. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 19, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at PRICE FUNERAL HOME, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 20 at 12 Noon.
