ROBERT EMMET RYAN, JR.
Long-time Bethesda resident Robert Emmet Ryan, Jr. passed away on October 1, 2021 at his residence in Grand Oaks Assisted Living Community. Bob was born in Chicago in 1922 and served in the U.S. Army in World War II as a battlefield medic. He is survived by his children Maureen Reisenweber of West Virginia, Denise Ryan of Arlington, VA, Ellie Mack (Kerry) also of Arlington, VA, Bob Ryan of Lorton, VA, and seven grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at the Church of the Little Flower in Bethesda, MD on Saturday October 9, 2021. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., with a mass to follow at 11 a.m.
