ROBERT A. VENEZIA  
Robert "Bob" Anthony Venezia, 45, of Alexandria died December 30, 2018 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born April 13, 1973 to Robert and Rosemary (Muehlfeld) Venezia in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Bob received a Bachelors and Master's degree from Florida Atlantic University. He was the Senior Vice President, and Head of Finance of Sales for SuperChannels, SCC at Oath of Verizon Media Services. He was also a faithful member of St. Mary's Basilica, Alexandria, VA.Bob cared so much about his family and friends. He guided, supported, and helped so many people. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, SJ and Palma Rose Venezia, and Carl and Margaret Muehlfeld. Bob is survived by his parents, Robert and Rosemary Venezia; devoted husband, Jack R. Shoptaw, III; siblings, Joseph Venezia, and Andrea Venezia Whitworth; and six children, Adrianna, Matthew, Nicholas, and William Venezia, Isabell and Reese Shoptaw. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home, 811 Cameron St., Alexandria, VA 22314. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 4, 2019 at St. Mary's Basilica, 310 S. Royal St., Alexandria, VA 22314, followed by interment at Ivy Hill Cemetery, Alexandria, VA.
