HALLAHAN

ROBERTA M. GREER HALLAHAN

On February 16, 2007, at Sacred Heart Home in Hyattsville, MD. Born in Welcome, MD to John and Hannah Greer, "Bobbie" graduated from Sacred Heart High School in LaPlata, MD and Mount St. Agnes College in Baltimore, MD. Her career began with the OSS during WWII, followed by Capital Airlines and 28 years with the Virginia Division of Tourism.

Survived by her daughters Colleen Doremus (Paul) of Potomac, MD, Carolyn Salamon of Frederick, MD, Cathy Lopez (Maurice) of Wilmette, IL, and Cindy Harrison (George) of Richmond, VA and seven grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters, Agnes Hetherington, Winifred Abell, Elizabeth Schultz and Patricia Witzen. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, February 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, 211 St. Mary's Ave., LaPlata, MD. Services will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, LaPlata, concluding with interment at St. Ignatius Cemetery, Hilltop, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sacred Heart Home, 5805 Queens Chapel Rd. Hyattsville, MD 20782.
