I attended the Hoya/SU lax tournament win and thought how much Roger would have loved watching his legacy in our All-American goalie. His thoughts would've been priceless.

Roger and I were college classmates, housemates, co-workers at Clyde's and members of the same DC National Guard unit. He was fun to be around, and always had a smile on his face. He was full of life, genuine and had a knack for being in the middle of the "action", whether it was lacrosse, cheerleading, the restaurant scene or anything social. May he always be fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Roger was my blue jeans wearing goalie on our college lacrosse team - a fearless competitor in the face of many a hard shot on goal. He also hosted memorable pig roasts. A good guy with a fine sense of humor. He will always be one of my fondest college memories. A good athlete and a great teammate.

We all have great memories of Roger. He was a wonderful loving husband to Betsy, his children and grandchildren. Always fun to be around. One of my fond memories was taking our teenage daughters to Cancun. We laughed the whole time there making sure our girls were safe and having fun. Rest In Peace Roger. Well all meet again!

Oh Bets, Mal, Alex & Chris, Where to begin? Rog was the best - husband, father, Hapa, and friend. 36 years of friendship with memories too many to list. He lived life to the fullest, even these past 16 months... an example to us all. We are so lucky to have had him in our lives. We love you all, Becky & Charlie

Roger was a true friend in every sense of the word. We will miss his twinkling eyes and laughter, his eagerness to make everyone have a good time, and his devotion to his family. There was no greater love story than his and Betsys. He always told us to make memories and we have so many.
