Roland Luciani "Rolly" September 30, 1948 - July 10, 2023
Roland "Rolly" Luciani, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 in Zionsville, IN. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Renate Luciani; his son, Adam Luciani; and, his daughters, Hannah, Julia and Maria. He is also survived by his siblings Frank, Vince (Barbara), Mark (Charina), Sue Rowden (Lee) and Sandra Lucian (Larry Ruggiero) as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Rogers (Bill) in 2021 of Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS) and his parents, John Lucian (2009) and Helen Lucian (2015). Rolly lived life with enthusiasm and energy and he was always up for an adventure. He will be dearly missed by everyone that knew and loved him. A funeral mass will be held on August 17, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1800 Seton Dr, Crofton, MD 21114. In lieu of flowers, Rolly would want donations to IAMALS.org in memory of his sister, Cheryl Rogers.

Rolly, A man that will definitely be missed he had a heart of gold gave me a chance at working with my passion computers. He helped my family on many occasions when I had my first born he helped to give me guidance and it was right around the time his wife was pregnant with triplets he was a very proud father and very hard working man he always cared about horsemen and women and what they did for a living I know how he really wanted to keep Rosecroft Raceway going there will never be another like Rolly a genuine gem of a person hard working and always cared you will be very much so my good friend and old boss many prayers and blessings to all family and friends of his always smiling down on us.
