Ronald Wood Obituary
Ronald G. Wood, better known as Glenn, 67, of Salisbury, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024 at his home. Born in Washington, DC, he was the son of Ronald Gary Wood and the late Diane Eleanor Wood.
Following graduation from Potomac High School, Glenn entered the workforce in the family business, JE Wood & Sons. He later owned and operated, G&W Roofing with his wife for several years. For over the past twenty years, he has worked as a contractor for Tecta America in Salisbury. In his younger years, he enjoyed golfing and fishing in tournaments ranging from the White Marlin Open in Ocean City, The Big Rock in Morehead, and several in Cabo. Recently, he has enjoyed shooting and loved firearms.
In addition to his father, Ronald Gary Wood, he is survived by his wife, Debra Lynn Wood; son, Christopher "Chris" Wood; sister, Shearie Ann Dixon (James); nephew, Hunter Dixon (Heather); niece, Sarah Mayo (Anthony); great nephews, Samuel and Wesley Dixon; and great nieces, Harley and Charlotte Mayo.
A visitation will be held, Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 501 Snow Hill Road.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Glenn can be made to American Heart Association via their website, www.heart.org or to the Gary Sinise Foundation, PO Box 40726, Nashville, TN, 37204.
