ROSANNE I. ZIEGLER
On Wednesday, July 3, 2013, Rosanne I. Ziegler took her last peaceful breath before being called home. Rosanne was a teacher for Prince George's County Public Schools for over 35 years. Even after retiring she became a substitute teacher for many schools across the county. Watching sports was her way of unwinding from a long day. Rosanne had the ability to touch the hearts of anybody who knew her. She is survived by her two loving children, Shaun and Sarah Ziegler and grandson, Shaun Jr. Preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Philip T. Ziegler. The Celebration Mass in her memory will be held at St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church, 14908 Main Street, Upper Marlboro, MD on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 11 a.m. In lieu of floral arrangements, please make any contributions in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 124 Park Street SE, Vienna, VA 22180. Dear Shaun and Sarah, Our family is very sad about your wonderful Mom's death. She truly was one our favorite teachers from Holy Redeemer in Kensington Md. Your Mom visited with us during the Christmas season about 2 years ago at our daughter's house (one of her students) and several of her former students were there to visit with her. It was fun seeing the reactions of the past students and your Mom's joy in seeing this group now in their 50s....We loved her and I promise to remember her in our prayers.

Your mom was a great lady. I work with her at Dr. Henry Wise. She was a great person and smart. I really will miss seeing her.
