ANASTASI, ROSARIO JOSEPH SARTO "Russell"

On Saturday, February 22, 2003, ROSARIO JOSEPH ANASTASI of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Mary Ann Anastasi; loving father of Sheila M. Testerman, Regina Reiter, Joseph R. Anastasi, Patrick G. Anastasi, Antoinette Tyser and Mary Rita Sweeney; brother of Angelina M. Cesca, Joseph F. Anastasi, Rose M. Zagami and the late Mary G. Cinotti, Anthony J., Ernest J., Frank G. and Michael J. Anastasi; father-in-law of David Testerman, David Reiter, Sharon Anastasi, Cory Anastasi, Joseph Tyser and Peter Sweeney. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, 500 University Blvd., W., Silver Spring, MD, Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, 10103 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20902, Thursday, February 27 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Church at the above address of The Laryngectomee Club of Montgomery County, 403 Hamilton Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20901.

Our deepest sympathies and heartfelt prayers go out to Aunt Anna and all of our cousins. We are all better people for having known Uncle Sarto. His spirit is surely in heaven now -- God knows he, above all, deserves eternal happiness. Happiness is all he ever brought to others.

God bless you, Uncle Sarto. We'll always remember you and your loving and gentle ways.
