My deepest condolences. I was the Brady's neighbor on Alta Vista Rd. and babysat for them. My father, Roberto Bustamante, who passed away 14 years ago, was friends with Dr. Brady. Sending a hug to Mrs. Brady, Roscoe Jr. and Owen. Beatriz Bustamante

To Dr. Brady's family and colleagues,

I had the good fortune to meet Dr. Brady several times during my visits to NIH and also when he visited San Francisco. While not alone in his research and successful results, he stood out for me as a true hero. Our "relationship" started when he very kindly answered my mother's inquiry about Gaucher research published in a NY Times article in the late 1970's.

I greatly admired his scientist quest and professional manner, always delivered with great care and compassion.
We will miss this great man.

My condolences to the Roscoe Brady family. I had the privilege to work in his Department at the NIH from 1972 through 1974. Roscoe trusted me and gave me total freedom in my research. I liked his strong personality and I am thankful for his support in my career.

May the Lord in Heaven be a comfort to you in your time of loss. Although I did not personally know Dr. Brady, his life's work has benefitted and improved the quality of life for countless people, including myself. My thoughts and prayers are with him, his family and friends, and the Gaucher Community on the loss of a great heart and mind! May God Bless and keep you.

Please accept my sincere sympathies. Do not underestimate the value of prayer. It is not that prayer simply makes us feel better. Our Heavenly Father assures us : " Draw close to God and he will draw close to you. " ( James 4 : 8 ) Yes, more than anything else, a relationship with God can help his faithful servants to cope with the death of a loved one.
