ARNONE ROSE M. ARNONE On Sunday, September 06, 2009, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Pat Arnone; mother of Barbara, Patrick (Terry), and Gigi (Reesa Levy) Arnone; grandmother of Debbie Potter, Donna Harrington, Donnie and Danny Powell, and Patrick and Jamie Arnone. Also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd, Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, September 9, at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Hi sweet Lil Nonie - It´s hard to believe it´s been 15 years ago since I have talked to you and kissed you goodnight for what ended up being the last time. You were such a beautiful woman inside and out who took the best care of her children and grandchildren. You were dearly missed at your first great grandchild Nicks wedding on 08-17-24. Your son Pasquale officiated the wedding and did a fantastic job. I know you were there along with your Pat

went to Shuckers with Fran, Agnes, Danny, Genia and Genia's cousin Marlene from Guam. Had a wonderfule time. My friend Bob, Elvis impersonator performed for 3 hours. He is awesome. We had dinner and stayed for the show.

Merry Christmas, went to Donnie's Christmas Eve and Angie's Christmas day for supper. Stayed with Donnie for 6 days. Debbie and Donna drove Me home Wednesday.

Hi Momma, I guess by now U know I had a heart attack last June, 09. what a nitemare. I wanted to talk to U and ask U to make Me chicken soup. I'm good now. Donna took care of Me for a month when I came home the end of Sept. Tell Daddy Hello and give him a big hugg.

We love you, Aunt Rose. Your beautiful smile and sincere warmth always made us feel so loved, so welcome. We considered it a blessing to be in your presence and to listen to the stories you loved to tell about you and Uncle Pat, and Cousins John and Grace.
And, oh, how I loved to watch you dance because you loved to dance! It was just terrific to see your face light up like a light bulb and watch your feet start moving. Watching you dance is one of the great joys of my childhood, Aunt Rose.
We both have a great big empty place inside because you aren't here with us any more, but we know that you are in the presence of our Lord Jesus and that we will see you again one day so we cannot be overwhelmed with grief. We love you.

Comare Rose was very special to me. She was mom and pop's best friend, and we always had such a good time when we all got together-lots of laughter and fond memories.
Unfortunately, the timing of the services came when we had a full house at the Anchor Inn and neither Carol nor I could get away. We regret that we were not there to give our love and support. You are in our prayers.

Dear Bobbi, Pat and GiGi,
I will always remember Aunt Rose for her love and support throughout my life in the happy times and sad ones as well -- celebrating birthdays, graduations, our wedding, our children and grandchildren.
She was so kind to my mother throughout her decline. I got my idea of bringing sweets and coffee to Somerford from what she did for my Mom. She was a wonderful role model.
We will miss her and remember her with love.

Bobbi, Pat and GiGi,
I will greatly miss Aunt Rose's phone calls and all The I Love You's, but I know she is at peace now and has joined Uncle Pat and the rest of the family in heaven. I'm pretty sure they are all enjoying the good Italian meals together with the home made pasta, my Father's meatballs and of course my Mother's delicious chocolate chip cookies.
Aunt Rose was always so nice to me and I will cherish the memories of her always.

Well the original fab four, Rose, Pat, Chick and Effie are reunited. She will be greatly missed! When I think of Rose, I automatically think of my own mother, who was one of Rose's closest friends. Nonie,
As your grandaughter, my heart aches, and the thought of life without you here on earth is unbearable. As a Christian, I am rejoicing. Death is the gateway into the promise of eternal life as we shed our earthly bodies to enter into the presence of God (1 Corinthians 15:50-53).
Thank you Nonie for always being there for me - Thank you GOD for letting us hold on to her for as long as we did and not allowing her to suffer. I love you so very much Nonie!
