Peacefully went Home to the Lord on Monday, September 22, 2003, after courageously battling Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease. He was born September 3, 1924, and was the most beloved and precious husband of Mary Marcello; devoted and loving father of Richard, Michele, Michael, Matthew and the late Maria Marcello; loving and caring stepfather to Holly Rotter and Poppy Kendall. Also survived by four grandchildren and a sister, Margaret Neimerovich of New Jersey. He also leaves to cherish and celebrate his memory his very loyal and loving co-worker of 20 years, Kelly Baughman, who was like a daughter to him. Predeceased by his parents, Peter and Angelina Marcello and a brother, Peter. Rudy owned and operated "Rudolph's" and "Marcello's Hair Nouveau" beauty salons for 50 years in Silver Spring, MD. He was a renaissance man and an amazing artist who brought beauty into the lives of many people. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. If you wish, contributions may be made in Rudy's Name to the Parkinson's or Alzheimer's associations; or to the Benevolent Fund, Asbury Methodist Village, Wilson Health Care Center, 401 Russell Ave., Gaithersburg, MD 20877.

Rudy,
One of the measures of our lives is who we are loved by. Of those that love you, I only have met Mary and Kelly. Their love for you says everything I think can be said about you. You are a great guy. I miss you.
