Still wearing this shirt and drinking coffee from the same Hitt cups. Still making an impression. Still thinking of you and your family. And ours. Happy days!

As long as I can remember, (I was born in the 1950s), Myrtle and Warren, and Russell and Joan Hitt were familiar names spoken in our household. They were held in the highest esteem by my parents, Clyde and Pauline Oliver. From Hitt Decorating to Hitt Contracting, my dad (and all of my brothers) had the privilege of working with, and enjoying, the Hitt family, and our lives are adorned in great memories in the forms of stories, pictures, hats, tee-shirts, coffee cups, and yes, plaster and drywall tools from over the years. Our heartfelt condolences to the Hitt family. Russel was a great man, and his legacy lives on through his family.
Sincerely, the Clyde Oliver family

Our daughter, Lauren, spent time with Grandpa Hitt at the farm and Kiawah with Innis. She always spoke fondly of the time he took to teach the girls new things. It was obvious that he loved his family and grandchildren. Thoughts and prayers for Joan and the Hitt family.
