Russell Washington Obituary

Russell Claude Washington Jr. (Major, US Army, Ret;) passed away on October 8, 2024 in the presence of his wife, following a lengthy neurological illness at age 50.
Russ was born in Washington, DC to the late Russell C. Washington Sr. (2017) and Eva A Washington (Gallien). He is survived by his wife Chelsea; son Aaron Russell, daughters Lauryn Ashley and Sydni Alexis; and brother Jason.
A celebration of life will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Church on Friday, October 25 at 10 a.m. Interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, any donations should be made to the Disabled American Vets and the American Red Cross.

To his wife and children may our Lord be with you always. MAJ Washington was a great Soldier and awesome Commander. He made every day an enjoyable day as my Commander. So much I can say but will leave with huge hugs & blessings to all who knew him...xo
