Russell Weil Obituary
Russell Taylor Weil (Age 96)
Russell Taylor Weil, a long time resident of Chevy Chase, passed away on June 17, 2023, after a long illness. Russell was a Maritime attorney and served his community on the FireBoard for Station 7 as well as one time president of the Harvard Club (alma mater) of Washington. Russell was widowed in 2011 (Virginia Freeman) and is survived by his children Hannah Ehrli (Mark), Nicholas Weil (Soukhavady); Ella Garrison (Robert); grandchildren Emalee, Isabel, Joseph, Mitchell (Kelly), Asa, Adin, and Ava; two great-granddaughters and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services for Russell will be observed on August 19 at 10 a.m. at St. John's Norwood Parish in Chevy Chase. All are welcome to attend.
