Celebrating Ruth's Birthday at Georgetown Harbor
Beverly Weise
April 28, 2014
Ruth, you were my neighbor since 1996 - a friend, lady, and role model. I remember how you lifted my spirits with your friendly daily greetings, "Good morning, neighbor!" I was sad when you decided to move to Greenspring, but you said "you wanted to spare your kids from having to make that decision." You knew how to move on and fully entered life at Greenspring, enjoying the new friends, your role as the Floral Director, and the many new experiences you relished. I remember you told me, "Don't you ever fear getting old!" I always enjoyed our get-togethers and remember how you enjoyed frogs - that being the theme of our birthday celebrations! I've attached a photo of you and Rick and Jennifer (my husband and daughter) as we celebrated your birthday recently. You were full of laughter and joy, and I will miss you. It was sad to hear this weekend that you were gone, but I know you're not really gone. You're now raising spirits and sharing joy and comfort to everyone who needs you as part of the angel team "over there." Thanks for all the brightness and hope you brought me. I love you, dear friend, Beverly
