To the Ward/Perry/McLean Family,

I was honored and blessed to have attended the beautiful memorial and homegoing celebration for your mother, Dr. Ward. She was a phenomenal women who lead an examplary life. I am sure that all who were in attendance felt the warmth of her love as it permeated the room. She has imparted a legacy to her children, grandchildren, friends, colleagues and her special clients. Her life has inspired and encouraged all of us to live a life that is pleasing to God every day. As it was so beautifully stated in the tribute from her son, Phil Ward, we know that she was ushered into the kingdom with the words, "Welcome Home, thy good and faithful servant." May God's blessing continue to be with you all as he comforts you with the love of family and friends.

It is with heartfelt sympathy that I extend my deepest condolescence to the Ward/Perry/McLean families in the loss of your mother/grandmother. She will always be remembered and cherished as a great humanitarian and a person that loved people.

It is only what you do for Christ that will have lasting value in eternity. Her legacy will not soon be forgotten as she has lived a life that has left footprints in the sands of time.

Your dearly departed Mother exhibited a kind heart to all whom she met and especially to the individuals that she served in her mental health profession.

Let her life be an example as you pay tribute to her by every kind word, act or deed that you extend to others.

May God Bless you all and comfort you with his love.

It will be the little things
that you will remember,
the quiet moments,
the smiles, the laughter.
And although it may seem
hard right now,
it will be the memories
of these little things
that help to push
away the pain
and bring the smiles
back again.

With Loving Memories,
