Sally's beloved family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Silverado Alexandria community where Sally resided, Comfort, who was by Sally's side for her last six weeks, and all of her caregivers over the last five years. Special thanks to Donna Birge, whom Sally named her Angel Walking On Earth.

So many memories to think about shared with this lovely lady, Sally Birge, who became my friend. We met through our husbands regarding their years at VMI, where's Sally's husband Tom Birge was my husband Dick Coupland's dyke (a VMI term) and we most often shared fun and friendship at Army Navy Country Club, Fairfax. Sally always had grace. She will be missed for a long time to come. God be with all of her loving families.

Always looked forward to Sally´s beautiful smile and gracious manner when my husband and I attended the Reunions at VMI. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
